Mobility Scooter Rental Terms and Conditions
1. Rental Agreement
By renting a mobility scooter from EZ Ride Mobility, you agree to the following terms and conditions. This agreement is between EZ Ride Mobility (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) and the renter (hereinafter referred to as “the Customer”).
2. Rental Period
- The rental period begins on the date the scooter is delivered to the Customer or picked up by the Customer and ends on the date the scooter is returned to the Company.
- Late returns may incur additional charges.
3. Rental Fees
- Rental fees must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- The Customer agrees to pay the rental fees as per the pricing structure provided at the time of booking.
- Additional fees may apply for delivery, pick-up, and any damages incurred.
4. Delivery and Pick-Up
- Delivery and pick-up services are available for an additional fee. The Company will arrange a mutually agreeable time for these services.
- The Customer must be present at the agreed location and time for delivery and pick-up.
5. Condition of the Scooter
- The scooter will be provided to the Customer in good working condition.
- The Customer agrees to return the scooter in the same condition as it was received, excluding normal wear and tear.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- The Customer must use the scooter in a safe and responsible manner.
- The Customer must not allow anyone other than themselves to use the scooter unless otherwise agreed upon with the Company.
- The Customer must not use the scooter in a manner that violates any local, state, or federal laws.
- The Customer is responsible for any damage to the scooter during the rental period, excluding normal wear and tear.
7. Insurance
- The Customer is responsible for ensuring that they have adequate insurance coverage for the use of the scooter.
- The Company is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during the rental period.
8. Maintenance and Repairs
- The Customer must not attempt to repair the scooter. Any issues must be reported to the Company immediately.
- The Company will arrange for repairs or replacement if necessary.
9. Cancellation and Refunds
- Cancellations made 2 days prior to the rental start date will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 12 hrs of the rental start date may incur a cancellation fee.
10. Liability
- The Company is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of the scooter.
- The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims arising from their use of the scooter.
11. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of GA/ USA.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By accepting the scooter, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
